Saturday, I had an impromptu lunch date with a friend from Providence, RI, so we decided to meet halfway in beautiful Mystic, CT! I asked our dedicated Twitter followers for some suggestions and was not disappointed in the quality of responses!
Here is a wrap-up of your most recommended Mystic, CT lunch spots! Feel free to keep ’em coming in the comments and we will add to the list!

The Harp and Hound- Recommended by our very own, Sean Henri (@SeanHenri). Known for their delicious pub food and atmosphere, this would have been a great choice! Check out the menu here: http://harpandhound.com/
S&P Oyster Company- A great recommendation by Stacey (@Smilystace). The Lobster Roll was definitely calling my name for this one! Check out the menu here: http://www.sp-oyster.com/
Captain Scott’s- Recommended by Ben (@wdw_ben). This is another restaurant known for its delicious seafood. Check it out here: http://captscotts.com
Jakes Way Back Burger-Recommended by Dan (@gtprider). I’ve had Jakes Way Back in other locations and they never fail to impress! See the menu here: http://waybackburgers.com/
Bleu Squid Bakery and Cheese Shop- This was my recommendation (@AmberDelPrete) because of my obsession with cheese, but they only took cash so we moved on! This menu does look fantastic though, and I plan to check it out soon…See it here: http://www.dessertsmysticct.com/
Mangos Wood Fired Pizza- Recommended by Betsy (@betsy1223). This is where we ended up and it was delicious! Check out my review or check out the menu here: http://www.mangospizza.com/Mangos
