The mission of the Hartford Children’s Theatre is to enrich the lives of children of Greater Hartford by providing access and exposure to high quality theatre for young audiences and related educational opportunities.

HCT offers year-round programming for children and families from the State of Connecticut and beyond, as well as opportunities for artists and artisans.

The Theatre achieves its educational and artistic objectives through a variety of well-established programs for children 3-18.
