Stepping Stones to Offer Four Captivating Early Childhood Classes this Winter

Stepping Stones

Beginning January 15, Stepping Stones Museum for Children will offer four Early Childhood Series Classes for preschool-age children and their caregivers.

Stepping StonesNorwalk, CT – Beginning January 15, Stepping Stones Museum for Children will offer four Early Childhood Series Classes for preschool-age children and their caregivers. Stepping Stones understands the important role of play in developing and nurturing a child’s love of lifelong learning. Our play-filled early childhood classes encourage creativity, exploration, discovery and self-expression with an amazing array of hands-on activities. These classes are the perfect compliment to a regular preschool program and they are ideal for children not enrolled in preschool. Two four-week sessions will be offered this winter, beginning the week of January 14 and the week of February 25.

Led by talented museum educators, these captivating classes allow children to have a ball while developing valuable motor, cognitive, language and social skills. Participation in these fun-filled art, music, dance and science programs will ignite your child’s imagination. Class members are also encouraged to explore our museum galleries before or after their class to enhance their experience. There is no additional charge for class members for this exploration of our one-of-a-kind, interactive museum.

Stepping Stones will host two open houses for parents and children to learn more about the winter sessions of the Early Childhood Series Classes on Wednesday, January 9 and Friday, January 11 from 10:30 am to noon. No reservation is necessary to attend and it is free with museum admission.

Winter Session 1 will be held from January 15 through February 8. After a two-week break to allow for the February school vacation weeks, Winter Session 2 will be held from February 26 through March 22.
