The New Canaan Farmers Market is celebrating its 24th season. The market will open on Saturday, April 23, 2022 and continue through November 19, pending weather conditions, from 10:00am to 2:00pm every Saturday, rain or shine. Nestled on the edge of downtown New Canaan, with a quick stroll to the market, one can easily see why it was voted “2005 Best Farmers Market of the Gold Coast” by the readers of the Moffly Publications local magazines and 2006 Best Farmers Market of Fairfield County by the readers of Fairfield County Weekly newspaper. From the scrumptious smell of a perfectly ripened peach to the ever-tantalizing tastings of the freshly-made pesto and tomato samples, it will be hard to resist such simply elegant cuisine. Edgewood Knives sharpens while you shop for the freshest CT grown fruits and vegetables from Gazy Brothers Farm, Smith’s Acres, Woodland Farm, Highridge Hydroponics, organic produce from Riverbank Farm, Copps Island’s clams and oysters, fresh pork, eggs, beef from Ox Hollow Farm, fiber and more from Henny Penny Farm, baked goods from various artisan bakers, Bongo and Capacci gourmet ravioli, Paul’s Custom Pet Foods, The Bee Love Project, Bee’s Knees Gourmet ice pops, annuals and perennials, goats’ milk soap products from Goatboy Soaps, fresh cut herbs and flowers, Seacoast Mushrooms, East Coast Kombucha, Raus Coffee, Chaga Cola, and so much more.
