1. Deep River Fire Dept. Antique Automobile Extravaganza
Sept. 9th, Devitt Field, 15 Southworth St, Deep River
The Deep River Fire Department is hosting their Annual Antique Automobile Extravaganza on September 9th at Devitt Field. The event will be bigger and better than ever this year with an amazing collection of antique vehicles, fire trucks, motorcycles, mega-trucks, tractors, and more. Vehicle entries are $10 each, walk-ins $5, and children 12 and under can enter for free. All proceeds will benefit the Deep River Fire Department.
2. Cheshire Fall Festival Market Place and Car Show
Sept. 15th, Bartlem Park, 520 South Main St, Cheshire
The Cheshire Chamber of Commerce, Richard Chevrolet, and the Constitution State Classics Car Club are sponsoring this year’s Cheshire Fall Festival Market Place and Car Show. In addition to an impressive collection of vehicles, enjoy a carnival, all-day music, food, farmers market, craft show, and much more! The car show will take place from 11 AM to 3 PM on September 15th at Bartlem Park.
3. The 48th Annual Roaring 20s Classic Car Show
Sept. 16th, Bethlehem Fairgrounds, Bethlehem
Whether you are an antique car fanatic or just fascinated by the Gatsby-era, the 48th Annual Roaring 20s Classic Car Show is a must-see. This year’s show will be at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds all day on September 16th. Be sure to check out the swap meet and various food vendors at the show.
4. Cabela’s Classic Car Show
Sept. 23rd, 475 East Hartford Blvd. N, East Hartford
Cabela’s and the Connecticut Military Corvette Club are working together to sponsor this year’s Classic Car Show which will benefit disadvantaged Connecticut veterans. The show is open to classic and sports cars and motorcycles and will include food, raffles, music, and a silent auction. Those who are interested in showing their vehicle may enter for $10 and spectators are welcome for free.
5. 4th Annual Cruise, Blues and Brews Festival
Sept. 29th, 11 Kirtland Terrace, Chester
Join the At-Risk Boys Fund on September 29th at the Chester Fairgrounds for a day of live blues music, food and retail vendors, and antique cars! The event will be open to the public from 10 AM to 4 PM rain or shine. Registration is now open and all antique and unique cars are welcome.
6. Cartoberfest
Oct, 7th, Hurley Park on the River, 37 Greenwoods Rd, New Hartford
All are welcome to attend the 13th annual Cartoberfest taking place at Hurley Park on October 7th. If you love your ride, show it off! The event includes dash plaques, door prizes, entertainment, and great food. All of the proceeds from Cartoberfest will be donated to New Hartford Fire and Rescue.
7. 26th Annual Vintage-Classic & Custom Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show
Oct. 7th, Squantz Pond State Park, 178 Shortwoods Rd, New Fairfield
The New Fairfield Lions Club is sponsoring the 26th Annual Vintage-Classic and Custom Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show on October 7th at Squantz Pond State Park. Registration will begin at 9 AM and awards will be announced from 3 PM to 4 PM. Admission costs $5 for adults, $2 for seniors, and children under 12 enter for free.
8. Wethersfield Police Cadet Car Show
Oct. 7th, Cove Park, 60 State St, Wethersfield
Visit Cove Park on Sunday, October 7th from 10 AM to 2 PM to check out some unique vehicles and support a worthy cause. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the Wethersfield Police Cadets. Admission costs $10 at the gate for show cars and is free for spectators.
9. 6th Annual Cars For Kids Automobile Show
Oct. 14th, 550 Goshen Rd, Litchfield
On October 14th the Connecticut Junior Republic will be hosting its 6th Annual Cars for Kids Automobile Show to raise funds to assist in providing care, treatment, and education programs for almost 2,000 boys, girls, and families served annually. Last year, the show was highly successful and featured nearly 320 automobiles. Admission costs $10 per exhibitor call and $5 per spectator call. Enjoy a day of unique cars and support an amazing cause!
10. Farmington & Avon Fire Departments Car Show
Oct. 20th, 1690 New Britain Ave., Farmington
Classics (both domestic and foreign), antiques, street rods, custom, old and new muscle cars are all welcome at the Farmington and Avon Fire Departments Car Show on October 20th. Be sure to check out this event for a day all types of unique cars, along with food and entertainment. This event is free to the public, however, donations are greatly appreciated and benefit the live fire training facility.
