Family-Friendly Halloween Festival Returns to Southington Drive-In

Families looking for some Halloween fun should check out the 4th Annual Halloween Festival at the Southington Drive-In Movie Theater in Southington, CT.  The event starts at 2pm on Saturday, Oct. 24th.

The event will feature hauntingly awesome family activities followed by a double-feature, Hocus Pocus & The Shining, on the big-screen.

Kids will be treated to a haunted hayride, pony rides, pumpkin bowling, face painting, pie eating contests at more.

Following a day full of fun festival activities, families can wind down in their cars or pull out some lawn chairs to watch Disney’s Hocus Pocus, followed by a brief intermission allowing families with younger children to leave before the slightly more frightening showing of The Shining.

Visitors are encouraged to spookify their vehicles for the “Trunk or Treating” event, and to bring a bowl of candy as children will be able to go car to car to collect treats.  Children of are encouraged to come in costume.

Admission is $15 per Southington carload and $20 for non-resident carloads. For more information visit
