Sunset Cruises at 7 p.m. Every Saturday through August 26th. Enjoy a 90-minute tour out to the Norwalk islands aboard the Aquarium’s new research vessel, timed for the day’s sunset. Educators onboard will point out sights and wildlife. Cost: $29.95 ($19.95 for members). Food & drink in small bags or soft-sided cooler permitted; no glass bottles. Water Street, Norwalk, CTThe only Aquarium focused on Long Island Sound presents sharks, seals, river otters, sea turtles, jellies and more than 100 other species from Long Island Sound and its watershed, as well as three touch tanks, a “Go Fish!” exhibit focusing on the cultural aspects of fishing on the Sound, a not-behind- the-scenes Marine Lab, popular “Meerkats” and “Dragons” exhibits, and an Ocean Playspace for toddlers. Harbor seal feedings at 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 & 3:45 p.m. daily. Plus, Connecticut’s largest IMAX ® movie theater and study cruises onto Long Island Sound.
