Cruise out in hopes of seeing some of the seals that spend the winter months off the Norwalk Islands. Educators also will point out wintering waterfowl. 21/2 hours. Offered many weekends Dec. 10-March 26; dates and departure times vary by low tide. Binoculars provided, but bring your camera! Must be at least 42 inches tall. Water Street, Norwalk, CTThe only Aquarium focused on Long Island Sound presents sharks, seals, river otters, sea turtles, jellies and more than 100 other species from Long Island Sound and its watershed, as well as three touch tanks, a “Go Fish!” exhibit focusing on the cultural aspects of fishing on the Sound, a not-behind- the-scenes Marine Lab, popular “Meerkats” and “Dragons” exhibits, and an Ocean Playspace for toddlers. Harbor seal feedings at 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 & 3:45 p.m. daily. Plus, Connecticut’s largest IMAX ® movie theater and study cruises onto Long Island Sound.
