Are you a bookworm? Then the only place you should be this weekend is at the book sale in Southport. Here you will be able to find many treasures and bargains in categories such as mystery, biographies, history, cookbooks, LPs, children’s, DVDs, signed books, and vintage magazines like Life and the New Yorker. Additionally, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame pianist, Mark Naftalin will be performing from 1pm to 2:30pm on both days. Not only will you get a book, the funds raised through the sales will be used to sustain the Pequot Library’s literary and cultural programs and services, art exhibitions, town-wide community events, music concerts, author talks, summer reading programs for children, and book discussions for adults.

The event is free and open to the public.
