“Fireworks Cruises” on July 3 at 7:30 p.m. (Norwalk fireworks) and July 4 at 7 p.m. (Rowayton fireworks). Enjoy a unique water view of municipal holiday displays from the water aboard the Aquarium research vessel. All passengers must be over 42 inches tall. The Maritime Aquarium10 N. Water Street, Norwalk, CTThe only Aquarium focused on Long Island Sound presents sharks, seals, river otters, sea turtles, jellies and more than 100 other species from Long Island Sound and its watershed, as well as three touch tanks, a “Go Fish!” exhibit focusing on the cultural aspects of fishing on the Sound, a not-behind- the-scenes Marine Lab, popular “Meerkats” and “Dragons” exhibits, and an Ocean Playspace for toddlers. Harbor seal feedings at 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 & 3:45 p.m. daily. Plus, Connecticut’s largest IMAX ® movie theater and study cruises onto Long Island Sound.
