Foxwoods Resort Casino presents Battle of the Bands Summer 2017 live at the Atrium Lounge. Throughout the summer 20 bands will battle for the chance to be the grand prize winner of $10,000 determined by judges rating bands’ Musical Presentation, Stage Presence, Audience Response and Originality. Each week fans who attend the battle will also have a chance to win prizes as a thank you for their support.
Admission is free.
Prizes:
- Grand Prize: $10,000 to the best band
- Runner Up Prize: Dinner, Ticket to a Show and a Fox Tower overnight at Foxwoods for each band member.
- Third Place: $500 Gift Card to Guy Fieri’s Kitchen + Bar
Rules:
- Must be 18 years old to enter
- Employees of Foxwoods Resort Casino, Radio Partners and their immediate family are not eligible .
- Bands should have never been booked at Foxwoods in past or be booked for future show dates.
- Bands should submit demo file or link to demo here: BattleOfTheBands@Foxwoods.comno later than April 7th. Videos encouraged, but not required.
- Please include: band photo, bio, contact email, and phone number.
- NO entry fee required.
- Qualifying bands will be notified by April 21st via emailwith their date selected to battle.
- Bands must be available all Wednesday evenings May 10 – August 16, although we’ll do our best to accommodate scheduling conflicts. All finalists must be available August 26, 2pm-8pm.
- Bands must have a 45 minute set prepared.
- Original songs are accepted, although bands must include at least 50% cover songs in the set.
- Profanity is prohibited.
- Patrons who enter the Atrium must be 21+.
- Bands scored 1-10 on: 1.Musical Presentation 2. Stage Presence 3. Audience Response 4. Originality

Each Band to Play 45 minutes.
Prizes for spectators every week including Foxwoods event tickets and Battle of the Band T-Shirts
Saturday, August 26th: Battle of the Bands Final Play Off
Time: 4:00pm – 7:00pm
An outside festival at which the Top 5 bands will play featuring Prize Raffles, Drink Stations and Food Trucks
