CFPA is thrilled to announce that, once again, we will be offering the wildly popular CFPA Ramble: Fabulous Frogs in conjunction with Everyone Outside. We will have vernal pool explorations almost every week this year, thanks to the support of the four trained CFPA Ramble Guides! The table below outlines the dates and leaders of each Fabulous Frogs Ramble.

Bring your curiosity! We will observe the amazing transformations that occur in vernal pools during several guided outings throughout the spring. Come to one outing or come to many, to see a wonderful array of creatures found in vernal pools this time of year; including frogs, salamander and frog eggs, tadpoles, salamanders, fairy shrimp, insect larvae, and more! We may not see adult frogs every week but there are always plenty of fascinating things to see in the vernal pool and nearby. Viewing scopes will be

Participants are advised to wear boots or old shoes and clothes that can get dirty as there can be muddy areas. If you have polarized sunglasses, please bring them; they are helpful for seeing into the water since there are reflections. To the parents, thank you in advance for helping to keep the children out of the water. The program will be held in warm rain; Cold or steady rain cancels.

The event is free to attend. Space is limited for these very popular events, therefore registration is required.
