McCartney & Rosenay in Liverpool

DERBY, CT – Connecticut’s Charles F. Rosenay, recognized as one of the world’s foremost Beatles fans and experts, never realized that his childhood dream of meeting any of The Fab Four would ever come true. Through his love for the music of the group, and by producing Beatles conventions, writing magazines on The Beatles and taking fans to Liverpool on sight-seeing tours, Charles eventually met three of his four heroes.

For the first time in 12 years, Rosenay will be producing a Beatles convention in Connecticut, and for the first time ever, he is talking about his “Beatleful adventures in public. Now, in the 45th anniversary of the British Invasion, and the 30th anniversary of his first Beatles convention, Charles tells his story in a personal, intimate and often funny journey: “In My Life: A Beatles Fan’s Odyssey.” The presentation takes place Tuesday, November 10 at 6:30pm at the Derby Public Library (Harcourt Wood Memorial Library), 313 Elizabeth Street in Derby, CT. Admission is free.

Rosenay’s Beatles convention, BEATexpo, comes to the Holiday Inn Downtown on Sunday, November 29th.   There will be special guests, concerts by tribute bands including “The Beatles Forever Band,” “Octopus’s Garden” and Tim Palmieri’s “The A-Z Beatles Songbook Show;” a rock & roll flea market/memorabilia marketplace; rare video shows; special exhibits and displays; a “penny” auction and many other features, events and attractions.  For more information, click here.
