WHAT: Do you have big dreams of performing in an award – winning venue where acts like Luke Bryan, Barenaked Ladies and Pentatonix have taken the stage? Turn that dream into a rockin’ reality when Mohegan Sun and Hall Communications present Locals Live 2018 inside the Wolf Den! You could be chosen to perform live at Mohegan Sun for the grand prize of $5,000 cash!

WHEN/ WHERE: Every Wednesday from November 7th to December 12th (excluding November 21st) from 8:00pm to 10:00pm in the Wolf Den. The finals will take place on Wednesday, December 12th where the top four bands will compete for the Grand Prize.

IN DETAIL: Mohegan Sun & Hall Communications are back hosting another exciting 5 – week contest, where 16 local bands and musicians, four per week, will compete live at the Wolf Den. The four bands/musicians that receive the most overall votes from the audience will compete in the finals on December 12th in front of expert judges to vie for the $5,000 grand prize, second place receives $1,000. Come out and vote for your favorite!

Enjoy $3.00 Bud & Bud Light specials and text to vote for your favorite! The voting period for each act is open on the night of their performances from the hours of 8:00pm – 11:59pm. Voters can text in their vote up to a maximum of 5 times. The top four bands from each night with the highest votes will perform on December 12th.

Get ready to rock in the holidays with the one and only Rob Mathes, celebrating the 25th Anniversary of his holiday concerts. This annual celebration features Mathes, his all-star band , his choir of “Saints and Friends” and this year, Rob will be joined by special guests Sting, Vanessa Williams and David Sanborn who will perform a few holiday songs with Rob and the band. The annual Rob Mathes Holiday Concert is a high-energy evening of rock, jazz, and blues – original tunes and holiday classics that will put you in the spirit of the season. Fun for the whole family! Mathes is a life-long Greenwich, Connecticut, resident and has worked with virtually every big name in the music industry, arranging, producing, directing, recording, and performing with the likes of Bono, Bennett, Sting and Springsteen. But despite his busy schedule, he comes home each year to the Connecticut/New York area to perform and ring in the holidays. This year, he will be performing two (2) concerts: Friday, December 14, and Saturday, December 15, 8:00 p.m., at the Performing Arts Center, Purchase College; tickets at: https://www.artscenter.org/events/rob-mathes-25th-anniversary-holiday-concert/.
