22nd Annual Easter Seals Goodwill Industries Lobsterbake

Mark your calendar for Friday, September 14, 2012, and make your reservation for the 22nd Annual Easter Seals Goodwill Industries Lobsterbake.

North Haven, CT – Mark your calendar for Friday, September 14, 2012, and make your reservation for the 22nd Annual Easter Seals Goodwill Industries Lobsterbake.  Dinner will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the carousel building at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven. Tickets are $65 per person including lobster or steak, steamers, corn on the cob, coleslaw, a baked potato, rolls, coffee and dessert. You may BYOB and appetizers.  Entertainment will include music, raffle and silent auction prizes and of course rides on the historical carousel. Proceeds from this event support the Easter Seals Goodwill Industries mission to enhance employment, educational, social and recreational opportunities for people with disabilities and other challenges.   The Goodwill division serves residents of New Haven, New London and Middlesex Counties with twelve Goodwill stores, seven attended donation centers, four non-attended sites and an outlet. Profits from purchases and tax-deductible donations are put back into the community to fund a variety of employment and training, recreational and life skills programs.

The stores also provide employment to Easter Seals Goodwill Industries’ clients with disabilities and other special needs.
