I asked our dedicated twitter followers on Saturday for some help with finding a lunch spot for an impromptu catch-up with a friend.  I love having options, and was relieved with the quality of responses! We decided to try Mangos Wood Fired Pizza for a delicious lunch in a great atmosphere!  The menu was extensive, with interesting combinations for pizza and salads.  There are also a variety of sandwiches and appetizers. We ordered the BlackSmith Salad and a Small Virgin “Gorga” Pizza to split, per the waitresses recommendation.   Splitting the small pizza and salad was the perfect serving size for two people for lunch and it cost about $15 each, including a soda and tip.  I was very impressed with the service, the environment, and most importantly, the food!  We spent about 2 hours catching up, and never felt rushed or in the way.  While we were there, families with children of all ages, couples and friends filtered in and out, all chatting and enjoying the delicious food offered at Mangos.

Next time you are in Olde Mistick Village, take a swing by Mangos Wood-Fired Pizza to relax and enjoy great food in great great company!  I know I will go back!
