The 3rd Annual Big Red Memorial Motorcycle Run June 6th
Sunday, June 6th is the third annual Big Red Memorial Motorcycle Run. Registration will begin at 10 am at Waterford Speed Bowl. The motorcycle run will begin at noon and follow a 20 mile scenic route to Smokey O’Grady’s, 306 Flanders Rd., East Lyme. Both riders and non-riders will convene at Smokey O’Grady’s at 12:30 for a barbeque with food, music, and raffles. All proceeds will benefit the Big Red Memorial Fund to help disadvantaged children of New London County play in organized sports.
An afternoon at Harkness Memorial State Park
Since we’ve been spending so much time in the western part of the state, we decided to take a suggestion given to us via our Facebook page and travel to Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, CT.
