The trails of Roxbury’s Mine Hill Preserve wind through a 19th century mining area, passing over 2 miles of an abandoned mine shaft and massive blasting furnaces.
This past weekend a friend and I took advantage of the sunny weather and kayaked Milford, CT harbor. We found a public launch ramp located behind the Milford Public Library and only a short distance from Long Island Sound.
