NCTC to begin monthly story and fun hours
NEWINGTON, CT - NCTC Performing Arts Theatre, home of Newington Children’s Theatre Company, will begin a series of monthly Story and Fun Hours this October. The program will continue on the third Saturday of each month through June 2010.
The series kicks off with a Halloween-themed event on October 17, 2009 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The hour will include meeting some favorite characters, hearing stories read aloud, participating in a selection of games and activities, and receiving small “goodie bags.” Costumes are encouraged and cameras are permitted. The event is ideal for children ages 3 to 8 years.
Admission for children age 8 and under is $3. All others will be admitted free of charge with a child; children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited, so please call the theatre at 860-666-NCTC (6282) to preregister. For more information about NCTC, visit www.nctcarts.org.
