Book reading and signing: Howard’s Search for a Home

Howard's Search for a Home
A new book is bringing former Mystic Aquarium resident Howard the eel to life for kids. Tim Watson, a volunteer SCUBA diver and underwater photographer at the Aquarium, has used his unique hobbies and extensive experience to create “Howard’s Search for a Home: An Underwater Adventure of a Moray Eel.”
The book uses digital underwater photography, fun animal facts and an entertaining story about an eel searching for a place to retire to inspire children to learn about and appreciate our oceans. A portion of the proceeds from the book sales go back to the Aquarium in the form of donations toward programs and research.
Tim will be reading from his book and signing copies in the Aquarium Store on Sunday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. Store passes may be obtained at the front gate.
