See the Sea and the Earth
New to the Westport River Gallery in Westport is master marine artist and Saturday Night Live artist D. Zider and earthy original works by Art Vitello.
Zider creates majestic marine scenes, sweeping nautical vistas, powerful clipper ships gliding over churning waterways. Vitello’s earthy works have been described as the quintessence of traditional art with a contemporary flair. The sincerity and simplicity of his compositions are brought to life by the exquisite texture he is able to achieve by overlapping many layers of paint.
